A Resounding Success!
After last year's amazing success at HIMSS, we were excited to reconnect with our peers, partners, and meet new people at this year's HIMSS conference! Going into 2022 with an ambitious mindset, we brought our A-game to HIMSS this year to surpass our achievements from last year. With our new connections from HIMSS, our team of experts has been hard at work expanding our network and reach to bring our Leading-Edge AI-based healthcare security solution beyond our old borders.
Now that the event has officially come to a close, let's take a moment to review some of the highlights from this year's event. As second-year exhibitors at HIMSS, we were so glad to be on Main Street this year with more foot traffic. With the delicious aroma of fresh coffee floating by from our neighbor's free coffee operation, we started off each morning at the booth brimming with energy.
Sunday's Exotic Car Driving Experience
To gear up for HIMSS, our team got together before the event with a few of our partners and peers to enjoy a day of zooming around the track! We recharged and our adrenaline was running high for the start of HIMSS on Monday.
Sharing Insights into Medical Device Security
To kick off the start of HIMSS22, our Chief Security Strategist, Richard Staynings, presented "Medical Devices Aren't Any More Secure" at the opening Monday event at the Cybersecurity Forum. His talk discussed the inherent threat that medical devices pose to healthcare delivery organizations' (HDOs') overall IoT/IoMT infrastructure security, and the vital need to secure these devices. Staynings is a well-known thought leader in cyberwarfare, cybersecurity, and healthcare security.
Partner Illumio was our Booth-mate
We were proud to have Illumio in our booth to detail our new partnership and integration.
T-Shirts were a Big Hit Again!
Since they were so popular last year, we decided to bring back our T-shirt presses and our iconic cybersecurity designs for this year! Some repeat visitors from last year completed their collection of all four designs, and many new visitors got their first T-shirt. The green "Commander" design was high in demand this year so we'll be sure to bring more decals next year!
Evening Cocktail Networking Events
This year, Cylera held a few wonderful cocktail events after the convention each day to catch up and unwind with peers and partners. We enjoyed the classy and calm atmosphere at The Rocks Lounge at the Hyatt, the best cocktails in Orlando at The Blue Martini, and the bright and lively beach vibes at The Hampton Social. We will be bringing these events back for next year's HIMSS and other conferences since they were such a great way to network and relax. Keep an eye out for our RSVP notices!
