HIMSS positively transforms patient care and healthcare through the best use of information and technology. The Southern California chapter is one of more than 50 affiliated chapters of HIMSS, the largest health care information systems professional organization in the nation. Bringing healthcare professionals together to exchange experiences and knowledge, HIMSS assists members in professional growth with educational seminars/conferences, networking opportunities, and a forum for idea exchange.
Supporting the Cause
Cylera is proud to be a sponsor of the 8th Annual HIMSS Charity Golf Tournament. The event is held to support the Ronald McDonald House & Family Rooms of Orange County. Established in November 1989, the program provides a comforting "home away from home" for the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment in Orange County hospitals. As part of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California, the program mainly draws families with children undergoing cancer treatments and those that need neonatal care, which together account for about 70% of those who stay at the House.
