What’s New in Cylera
Learn about the latest updates to the Cylera platform
New Version of the Cylera Platform Now Available
At Cylera, we constantly listen and respond to the concerns of our healthcare customers. For the last nine months, we have been gathering customer insight on the specific security challenges they face as they try to navigate the complexities of today’s interconnected device landscape. Based on these findings, as well as additional months of extensive testing and further customer analysis, version 2.0 of the Cylera platform is now available.
New User Interface
The new user interface now available in the Cylera platform provides a fresher, cleaner user interface by distilling complex, multi-layered data into intuitive, more easily navigable dashboards and views. Users can identify key data points more easily. Each page also has a new information hierarchy specifically designed to meet the needs of enterprise healthcare information technology, information security, and biomedical teams.
Dark Mode
The new dark mode theme now available in the Cylera platform user interface, which was designed in accordance with the latest accessibility and usability standards, allows users to toggle between light and dark modes to reduce eye strain. Dark mode is an especially popular option for those working in a security operations center (SOC) environment.
Simplified Device Ownership
The new, simplified inventory section instantly displays the groups and devices assigned to users, including their risk and threat posture. This enables you to quickly identify any areas that require immediate attention and makes it easier for the users to spend less time searching and more time acting.
Single Device View
The new Cylera platform user interface consolidates all the important data points into a single high-level page view so you can quickly digest a device’s posture with identity, risk, and threat information all in one place. You can also drill down into specific areas to gain greater visibility and context of their network assets. This creates a more natural and intuitive journey when investigating healthcare connected medical devices.
Unified Device and Risk Assessment
The new Cylera platform interface also delivers an enhanced, unified view of all risk assessment and remediation efforts across all connected medical devices. You can instantly see affected assets, track trends, break down data by vendor, and prioritize individual risks. The item of ‘highest impact risk’ always displays front and center of the page, so you know instantly where to focus your attention first to improve overall security posture, saving time and reducing risk.
Enhanced Subnet Analysis
New Cylera platform capabilities help you easily analyze the current state of any subnet to identify areas to increase the separation of responsibilities and decrease the blast radius from adverse events. Because security programs are often restricted by the availability of vendor-provided patches, proper network organization is critical to maintaining proper cyber hygiene. To address this challenge, the Cylera platform user interface now provides a new page with simple visualizations combined with searchable tabular data to help you to identify opportunities to secure connected medical devices more easily.
